All About Mini Lops

Here I will try and cover as much as I can about Mini Lops / Miniature Lops

Mini Lops are the smallest breed of lop rabbit, and my favourate for many reasons. Like any pet rabbits vary when it comes to temperament, however I have found Mini Lops to be the most cheeky, outgoing, inquisative and the friendliest breed of bunny I have come across. Easy to handle due to their small size they make a good allround family sized pet. On average a Mini Lop should way three and a half pounds when fully grown. As with all breeds of rabbits the females usually grow a little larger than the males.

Mini Lops have a life span of around 5-10 years, so when thinking about buyin one you must consider the long term care of your bunny - holidays etc. They dont stay little fluff balls for long, adult rabbits like companionship, need exercise a good diet and regular human interaction, handled daily cuddled, stroked, teeth checked eyc. The bigger the hutch the better, water tight, draft free, clean and away from predators.
